ppm-alhadi–<\/strong> Abu Al-Khusain Al-Nuri, sufi kelahiran Baghdad pernah melakukan hal kontroversial bagi orang awam. Suatu saat ia mendengar lantunan azan, beliau menjawab dengan “Kerusakan dan racun mematikan.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sebaliknya, saat mendengar gonggongan anjing, ia malah menjawab, “Labbaik, wa sa’daik” (Kebahagian berlimpah untukmu).” Mengapa Syekh Abu al-Husain Al-Nuri berbuat nyeleneh begitu?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ia menjawab, “Muadzin yang menyebut-nyebut nama Allah itu bergelimang dosa, berharap pujian dan bayaran.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sementara anjing yang menggonggong itu berzikir mengingat Allah tanpa riya’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Syekh pun mengutip ayat Allah bahwa hewan itu memahasucikan Allah,
Al-Isra’ 44,
Langit yang tujuh, bumi, dan semua yang ada di dalamnya bertasbih kepada Allah. Dan tidak ada sesuatu pun melainkan bertasbih dengan memuji-Nya, tetapi kamu tidak mengerti tasbih mereka. Sungguh, Dia Maha Penyantun, Maha Pengampun.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
